Young working women after a 1 or 2bedroom property in CBD

I am moving to New Plymouth in 3weeks as I have been promoted and am urgently seeking accomodation. I would prefer to live in CBD, but would consider surrounding areas. I also have a small cat (fully house trained) that I would love to bring with me, but if not possible other arrangements can be made. I am in New Plymouth next weekend 14/11/09 so I could possibly view properties at this time.
